Property and Rooms

The Living Miracles Monastery

The Living Miracles Monastery is located in the Strawberry River Canyon, about a thirty minutes drive from Duchesne, Utah. Duchesne is a quiet, rural town with a population of just under 2,000 people. This town has a number of restaurants and stores, such as a supermarket, auto shop, and hardware store. The Monastery is also thirty minutes away from a beautiful natural park, Starvation State Park and many other natural areas to camp, hike, and rest. For more information about the area including town events, town history, or nearby places to visit, click here.

Our very quiet Monastery community is perfect to focus deeply on your inspired project, to rest your mind, and to draw close together with those who have a deep call for Awakening. The Monastery is a fully furnished and well-maintained property that has been used for A Course in Miracles devotional stays and retreats. It also serves as a place where people can immerse in the stillness of the canyon and focus inward.

Monastic Living and Property Care

The Living Miracles Monastery is a devotional monastic sanctuary, and due to its reverent nature and purpose, those who are accepted for co-living there will be dedicating a minimum of five hours per week of property care and maintenance. The co-living steward will be organizing and scheduling many aspects of basic facility functions and ground maintenance and care. You may find, as we have, that the joy and care that comes from pure giving runs much deeper than the form of it. This shared desire to keep the property maintained and tidy is also a means for simple and clear communication. We’d love to have you join us in this shared desire.
